Saving Important Bird Areas
The U.S. section of the Pacific Flyway, stretching from Alaska all the way to Hawaii, is home to more than 300 global Important Bird Areas. Many of these sites are recently identified marine sites that provide critical opportunties for feeding, breeding, and resting. Audubon is leading the way to protect these iconic places and the birds that depend on them, and mobilizing our network of Chapters to act as stewards.
